GENERAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I don’t want to give up meat completely. Do you have a solution for that?

Yes I do have a solution for that. It's called the 80/20 Approach to Plant-Based Living. What is the 80/20 Approach to Plant-Based Living you ask? It's where you eat plant-based during the week or (at least 4-5 days a week) and still enjoy the foods that you love if you have a craving on the weekends or (2-3 days out of the week).

This allows you to keep/maintain your curves and not feel so restricted that you revert back to your original eating habits. You see with me you’ll be able to heal your body, lose weight, keep your curves, and still enjoy the foods that you love. After all, who wants to feel like they’re stuck in a box and can never enjoy something that they want to eat.

It’s all about balance. Eat whatever you want at least 1-2 days out of the week. It can be fried chicken, bacon, pastrami, and some ice cream. Basically whatever you might be craving that day. If or when you have a deep craving you fill it. No fuse, no guilt, and no shame. Then you go right back to eating plant-based.

What will vegan eating do for your health?

The recipes are delicious with amazing benefits. They are husband and kid approved. The benefits include weight loss (while still keeping your curves) , increased energy, regular bowel movements, glowing skin, mental clarity, prevention/reversing diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, heart disease and stroke. Not to mention reversing infertility and aging.

Are the recipes easy? I don’t want to buy products I know nothing about.

The recipes are easy to follow and the book is easy to navigate. It is literally broken down to a 4th grade level so anyone can easily follow along. I have left no guessing when it comes to the recipes, and as long as you follow the instructions it will come out perfect every time as if I made it myself.

Do the recipes include a lot of processed ingredients?

No, not really. I use a variety of things, but no tofu! I use lots of vegetables, mushrooms, jackfruit, banana peels, marinated artichokes and some meat substitutes. I have so many different amazing recipes it just depends on what I’m making. I find the best ingredients to use so you and your family will think it’s meat but it’s not. After all, I want the whole family eating plant-based food, not just myself. So it has to look good and taste even better. All my recipes are family approved!

Are the recipes husband and kid approved?

YES!!! That means the whole family will eat the recipes you cook from my book. This is very important as what good is it, if you’re the only one eating plant-based. The recipes are tried and true. My husband is 100% vegan and uses the cookbook faithfully to make meals for our whole family. My kids eat vegan as well because the recipes look and taste delicious not to mention the amazing benefits from cooking them. I really wanted the recipes to be familiar so people can relate to the foods they’re eating (healthier foods that taste just like the foods you love).

How many versions of your cookbook do you have?

I have 2 versions of my cookbook on my website. An ebook (digital download) and a hardcopy (physical copy) that’s shipped to you in the mail.

Is the E-BOOK the same as the hard copy?

Yes it's exactly the same as the hardcopy, but in digital form. You can download it to your phone, tablet or computer.

When will I receive my ebook?

Your EBOOK is automatically sent to your email (labeled your downloads are ready) immediately after purchasing. The download link is located in that email.

How long does the ebook take to download?

Your ebook may take 10-15 minutes to download. Remember my cookbook has over 150+ recipes in it, so the file is large.

My ebook is not downloading. What should I do?

If it doesn’t open after 10-15 minutes. That means you do not have enough storage space on your phone. Try it from your iPad, tablet or computer.

Let’s face it. Technical difficulties happen sometimes. If for any reason you do not receive your digital download (cookbook). Please contact me by email at inthekitchenwithkimmcghee@gmail.com or via the contact page on this website and it (digital cookbook) will be resent to you.

I ordered the ebook by mistake. Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds on digital products. All sales are final. You may use your ebook purchase price in the form of store credit. You can upgrade to the hardcopy (physical cookbook). You would just have to pay the difference or apply it to any merchandise on the Inthekitchenwithkimmcghee.com website. Merch includes t-shirts, sweatshirts and mugs.

What makes your cookbook different from other vegan cookbooks?

What makes my vegan cookbook different from the others is. Everything! My cookbook is a full color cookbook with over 150+ recipes that includes: breakfast, lunch, dinner, sides, pastas, soups, salads, soul-food, snacks, and desserts. It also contains a complete Vegan & Plant based Foods List in the back of the book so you become familiar with the foods you will be purchasing and cooking with. It also tells you what oils to use and cook with and not to cook with. They are specifically itemized and named. Each and every recipe has a picture. Some recipes have multiple pictures for a visual step by step, so you can see your progress as you cook the recipe.

It also comes with me and my expertise. I have a free private Facebook community “Ease into Vegan Cooking With Kim McGhee” where I go live and teach you about the “Ease into Vegan Lifestyle”. This includes Live and recorded step by step cooking tutorials of recipes in the book along with new recipes. Monthly Q&A and access to me if you have any questions. How long does it take for my cookbook to ship?

Please allow 5-7 business days to process your cookbook order. Once shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation via email. We use USPS priority mail cubic which takes about 1-4 days to deliver. If you PRE-ORDERED your cookbook. It will be shipped on the day specified to your pre-order. Why does the cookbook cost $124? I've purchased many books, including cookbooks, but I've never paid that much.

My cookbook is the first and only full color cookbook with pictures for each recipe. The standard cookbook is usually black and white text with color pictures only. Mine also has multiple pictures for the majority of the recipes so you can see step-by-step details. Which isn’t cheap.

What makes it pricey is the overall quality of the book. Listed below are the features that contribute to the costs:

1. The book has 2 black & white pages and 176 full colored silk finish text pages (which means it's somewhere between a gloss and a matt finish. It has a slight sheen to it, but without the mirror-like shine of full gloss which is easy on the eyes in a kitchen setting. To the touch this thicker quality paper feels noticeably softer and smoother but gives the pictures a nice vibrancy.

2. The book measurements are 8.5 in width x 11 in length (text book size yet lightweight and sleek)

3. For the cookbook I chose the option of Case Binding which is a stellar option. This offers a professional, yet classic look and feel with the sturdiness to withstand everyday use.

4. Last but not least the cookbook is a Hardcopy Hi-Gloss Laminate Cover. This alleviates those horrible paper sleeves that constantly tear or fall off your standard type cookbooks. Making it durable, spill proof, and easy to clean.

Basically it is not your standard cookbook. It’s a one time investment that will last generations to come! Most importantly, the recipes are delicious and the benefits are amazing.

The real question is will this book and cooking the recipes help you and your family eat more vegetables and less meat.
